Last night being new Year, we had some family round and had a braai (barbeque) at home. One of our guests made this celery bread recipe and it was a hit, so I am going to share the recipe with you.

I love different loaves of bread with family meals, but I have not tried Celery Bread. Wondering if the Celery Bread will go well with a pot of Chili! Even with a pot of homemade chicken & noodle soup during the cold days. Thanks for sharing your lovely recipe from your dinner. I will share your website with my family and friends.

This is a savory bread and will go with just about any meal. Thanks for stopping by Jannette.

I love to go out and cook or bake. So finding new recipes is very fun for me. With that being said my family loves bread and being able to make new bread recipes is fun.

However celery in bread sounds very different then the other breads I have tried. I’m curious though does it taste like celery? If so then I probably won’t make this. However I will share with those who enjoy different kind of breads as well.

Funnily enough, I hardly noticed the celery in the bread, and was surprised when I asked for the recipe that it was actually called celery bread.

This is such a unique recipe…I have heard of it before!  I always hate to buy celery for a recipe because the recipe often calls for a small amount and then I have the rest left over.  I usually have to throw it away but this is a great alternative. Can I share this recipe?
