Drop Scones Recipe Easy

Here is a Drop Scones Recipe. It’s easy and delicious and a great quick breakfast on the go. The best part about this recipe is that you don’t need to get your fingers dirty. You can choose to leave out the cheese and paprika if you want a sweeter version. You can also make traditional scones using these recipes.
Drop Scones Recipe
You Will Need:
500 ml cake flour
15 ml baking powder
5 ml sugar
2 ml salt
5 ml dry mustard
125 ml grated mature Cheddar cheese
1 egg
100 ml milk
100 ml water
50 ml oil
Paprika
Method:
Sift the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and mustard.
Add the Cheddar cheese.
Beat egg, milk, water, and oil together.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour the liquid into it.
Mix quickly into a soft dough using a fork.
Drop spoonfuls onto an oiled baking sheet, dust tops with paprika, and bake at 220 degrees celsius for 10 to 12 minutes.
Serve hot with butter.
This easy drop scones recipe makes 12 scones.

Thanks for sharing this article. It’s got me hungry just reading it and looking at those pictures. I was actually just saying to a friend last night that it has been ages since I baked anything. As in many years. I think i was possibly at school last time i did. But I think I might give these a try, as they look so easy.
I have never tasted drop scones before, but the recipe is quite simple maybe I will make some. I have heard of Scones before, but I have never tasted them, could you tell me what they taste like? I am sure they taste as good as they look, so I will have to make some,

Scones taste almost like bread but sweeter (depending on what ingredients you use) and they are a heavier texture. They are similar to muffins and are very filling. You could make a meal out of them.
