Slow Cooker Chicken And Noodle Soup

This slow cooker chicken and noodle soup is real comfort food and super easy to make.
Great for a cold winters evening.

Chicken Soup
This is soul food and comfort food at its best.
- 4 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)
- 1/4 pkt noodles of your choice
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 onion (chopped finely)
- 1 pkt frozen peas and carrots (defrosted)
- 1 cup low fat chicken broth
- chicken spice, salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (extra for garnish)

In a medium bowl whisk together cream of chicken, cream of celery and chicken broth until combined.

Put the chicken breasts topped with the chopped onion in the base of the slow cooker.

Pour the soup mixture over and cook on high for four hours or until cooked through.

Shred the chicken with a fork

Stir in the peas, carrots and noodles.

Cover and cook for another hour on high.

Serve hot with bread and enjoy!
Last week I tried this Slow Cooker Chicken And Noodle Soup as I couldn’t find all the ingredients above, and it was also delicious.
You Will Need:
4 boneless chicken breasts
1/4 packet of alphabet noodles
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can carrot soup (or any other vegetable soup you can find)
1 chicken stock cube dissolved in 1/2 liter of boiling water
1 onion finely chopped
1/4 packet of frozen peas and sweetcorn
chicken spice, salt, and pepper
Method:
Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
Place the chopped onions on top.
Mix the different soups and the stock mixture together and pour into slow cooker over the chicken.
Cook on low for four hours.
Break chicken up with a fork, then add the frozen vegetables, spices and noodles.
Cook on low for a further 3 hours.
Voila, you have a thick hearty delicious soup for dinner, and that was so easy.
