1 pinch of salt
120g sugar

- Add cornstarch and baking powder, mix, then add yogurt.
- Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture.
- Pour into prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes.
Tip
• Use room-temperature eggs for better texture.
Cake Number 2:
You are going to love this recipe as there are only three main ingredients, making this cake budget-friendly and easy to whip up.
The Greek Yogurt adds moisture and a delicate texture to this cake. It also adds protein.
You can customize it and add fruit, nuts or spices to make it your own.
It is quick and easy and ready in under an hour.
You Will Need:
3 large Eggs
150g Greek Yogurt
150g Flour
100g granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional, but enhances the
flavor)
1/2 tsp baking powder (optional, for extra lift)
Pinch of salt
Optional Add-Ins: Lemon zest, cinnamon, chocolate chips, or fresh berries.
Method:
Step 1: Preheat & Prep
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a loaf pan or round cake pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Step 2: Mix Wet Ingredients
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together until light and frothy.
- Stir in the Greek yogurt and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
Step 3: Add the dry ingredients
Step 3: Add Dry Ingredients
- Sift the flour, baking powder (if using), and a
pinch of salt into the wet mixture. - Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. The batter should be smooth and slightly thick.
Step 4: Optional Add-Ins
- If desired, fold in extras like lemon zest, cinnamon, chocolate chips, or fresh berries.
Step 5: Bake
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and
smooth the top with a spatula. - Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick
inserted into the center comes out clean or
with a few moist crumbs.
Step 6: Cool & Serve
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve plain, dusted with powdered sugar, or topped with honey, jam, or fresh fruit.
So there you have it, two easy cakes with only a few ingredients.
